Some of the largest retail owners in the country were among the first to embrace C-PACE.  Companies like Simon Property and Washington Prime have utilized C-PACE to reduce utility costs for its property and tenants.  C-PACE payments may be passed through to tenants as part of its real estate tax reimbursements, enhancing the economic benefits of C-PACE.
