The 2019 ASHE Hospital Construction Survey found that 23 percent of healthcare operators are either renovating or building acute care hospitals, and 22 percent will do so within the next three years to address an aging hospital infrastructure. Two of the key focal points of their renovation efforts that account for over half of total improvements upgrading air handlers/ventilation and updating plumbing fixtures and piping, both C-PACE eligible.
