Senior living developers are also significant users of C-PACE.  Senior Living properties vary greatly based on affordability and the type of care required.  Eligible properties include Independent Living, Assisted Living, Memory Care and Nursing facilities.  With a smaller market for first mortgage lenders in the senior living space, C-PACE fills an important role in closing the equity gap.  C-PACE is also used for important improvements to protect the health of its residents, including new back-up generators and improved water and air filtration systems.
