Adam Kurland has a strong background in commercial real estate, private credit, and risk management. His experience includes credit analysis, development risk assessment, and sustainable real estate financing, with a particular focus on C-PACE lending. He specializes in structuring and underwriting energy-efficient and resilient real estate projects that adhere to current performance standards. Before joining CastleGreen Finance, Adam gained practical experience at X Caliber Rural Capital as a Private Credit Summer Analyst, supporting underwriting, financial modeling, and credit analysis for rural transactions. He then moved to the X Caliber Funding team as an Analyst Intern, where he handled bridge loans, performed detailed data analysis, and aided in capital placement.

Adam started his career at RXR Realty in New York as a Risk Management Intern. His duties included insurance tracking, portfolio risk reviews, and analyzing commercial real estate exposure across various asset types. He earned a bachelor’s degree in economics and finance from the University of Illinois, along with a minor in business.
